At Karisa Healthcare, we are committed to ensuring the highest standards of care and professionalism. To join our team, all staff members must meet the following compliance requirements:
Right to Work in the UK
All applicants must have the right to work in the UK, and be able to evidence this through the relevant documentation.. Please note that we do not provide sponsorship for work visas.
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check
A enhanced Childrens and Adult Workforce DBS check is mandatory for all positions to ensure the safety and security of our clients. We do accept the update service if you already have DBS on the update service.
Professional References
We require two professional references. However, this may vary depending on the role:
- Children’s Support Workers: Must provide references for their entire health and social care career.
- NHS Roles; Must provide references covering a minimum of 5 years (Where applicable)
Training Requirements
- Online Training; All staff must complete specific online training modules. The modules required vary depending on the job role.
- Face-to-Face Practical Training; The required modules vary by role, but all employees must complete training in Moving & Handling of People.
Additional Compliance for NHS Roles
For those joining us in roles within the NHS, additional compliance requirements include:
- Occupational Health Assessments: Ensuring staff are fit for their roles.
- Up-to-Date Inoculations: Verification of necessary vaccinations as per NHS guidelines.
