Current Role and Responsibilities: I oversee applications from all candidates throughout the whole compliance process. This begins with completing the relevant compliance checks and seeing them through to the completion of their practical training. The candidates I assist include Registered Nurses, Healthcare Assistants (both experienced and those who come through our Training Academy) and Support Workers.  

Professional Background

Brief Professional Summary: I started working with Karisa Healthcare in October 2020, after graduating from Liverpool John Moore’s University. I began as a Digital Marketing Apprentice, but soon found an interest in working alongside the Recruitment and Compliance Team and made the move to become part of this team in 2023.

Previous Roles: 

Retail Assistant at Evans / Wallis (Arcadia Group Ltd) – May 2018 – February 2021. 

Education: 

10 GCSEs & 3 A-Levels – St Thomas More Catholic School

BA (Hons) Criminology – Liverpool John Moore’s University (2017 – 2020).

Skills and Expertise:

• Organised – ensuring all candidate files are 100% compliant
• Vast knowledge of the compliance process for both new and existing staff.

• Travelling – we currently have a collection of over 20 fridge magnets in the office from where everyone has been!
